After months of procrastinating on this rather simple project, I decided, what the heck!  Its a new year, and my front door could use a new look.  It was one of those projects that left me wondering why I put it off so long.  Ah, but then I remembered, I have 4 boys and it takes ALL of my energy and focus to keep the house somewhat clean and to keep them fed and alive on a daily basis!  So the bottom line is, my door hanger is finished!  And my house is a wreck…

Supplies/Tools:

• wooden board of the shape & size you prefer { mine was 1×18” in diameter }
• chalkboard spray paint
• fine grit sand paper
• heavy duty ribbon for hanging
• chalk
• drill motor
• 1/2” drill bit

I love how classic and clean it turned out!  Although I could definitely stand to practice my { chalk art }.  This tutorial I stumbled across seems like a good starting place.  Such beautiful images!
